ABOUT ME
Comfort is a practicing filmmaker with a vested interest in working the class journey inspired by lived experiences in South London and West Nottingham. Her muse is perceptions of black masculinity in the genre of social realism drama. Her working ethos is the representation of women in the process as much as the outcome to make a unique image. Comfort has been commissioned by Stop Play Record in partnership with Dazed, BBC New Creatives, London Transport Museum, and more recently by Peabody in Thamesmead. In between this, she has been involved in The Institute of Contemporary Art Playback festival and their In-Visible Culture fest in collaboration with GUAP magazine.
